After Hours – Atmos Energy Cajun Boil Attracts Members and Guests!
After Hours Cajun Boil hosted by Atmos Energy on March 25th, 2010 was a smashing success with sixty five folks gathering at the Atmos Energy Meeker building at 702 Main Street to enjoy pots of steaming fresh crab legs and shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob and tables of desserts provided by Clay Russell and Jim Ellis. Two Atmos Energy Executives even traveled from Greeley, Colorado to attend the event. Social networking doesn’t get any better than this!
At the end of the meal, Jim gave away prizes for Atmos Gas related trivia questions and Clay gave interesting information about their company. We learned that Atmos Energy is the largest pure natural gas distributor in the United States, delivering natural gas to 3.2 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and public-authority customers. And its regulated utility services are provided to more than 1,600 communities in 12 states. In Meeker they have almost 1200 customers.
Members and guests present also introduced themselves and their businesses. From guests to new members to old members, it was a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Each person was also given a gift bag with promotional goodies inside. Thanks again, Clay and Jim for making this a wonderful event and supporting our Chamber of Commerce!
